Originally it was much to my disbelief that green hair, is in fact at its height in fashion. Yes, I said it. Green hair currently seems to be very on trend. Thanks  to the eccentric celebrities who are Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga. Granted, green hair was around before they decided to dye their barnets, but they are the one’s who seem to have brought it into the spotlight this year.

I was shocked to discover such news, but as the nosey blogger I am, I went on to ‘investigate’ the look  further. Here are a few snazzy photographs I have discovered from random tumblr blogs on the net.

After looking at these photographs … I realised that green hair didn’t have to mean an all over, grass green hair do. Please don’t get me wrong because an all over grass green hair do is absolutely fine -  if that’s what your into. I like to think of myself as slightly edgy… but I don’t think I personally really have the ability to go that wild with my hair.

I realised that with the colour green, comes turquoise, blue and numerous other varieties of the shade. Rather mermaid - Esq if you ask me.

Dying my hair green would be something I would have to think about twice, but having thought a little on the matter - I do now think that the look is very appealing.

What is the craziest colour you would ever dare to dye your hair?

Is green hair to stay or to go?

A subject that has taken up quite a lot of my thoughts recently has been my hair. I simply do not know what to do with it. Ive regrown it into my natural colour (chestnut brown) so it is all in quite good condition - if I do say so myself. The only problem really is that I find it a bit bland. So what to do?

Ive dyed my hair nearly every colour of the rainbow… but have never ventured for orange / ginger / auburn - never ventured on purpose* should that be!

With this in mind, I’m swaying between the idea of turning fiery for winter!

This is the kind of colour I want:

  Trust Florence to get it right! Its not too orange, not to red (a colour that really does seem to be everywhere this summer) and I think its plain enough to suit my pale complexion without looking boring. I think this would look quite funky.

Now I realise they are both actually quite different shades of ginger - but I like them both.

I can tell I’m going to have to continue with my deep thoughts about this dilemma. If you have any suggestions PLEASE comment and let me know!
